AOD Training Opportunity from Poutini Waiora

Karaka mai ki kā kaitikaki whānau! 

We are excited to have our whānau from He Waka Tapu come to host a wānaka to support anyone working in the AOD/Meth harm space. He Waka Tapu is a kaupapa Māori organisation that uses tikanga Māori to identify what whānau want out of life. They provide personalised health consultations, community health initiatives, mental health crisis intervention, addiction support services, reintegration programs, family violence prevention, and educational offerings to promote holistic well-being in their communities.

This is an opportunity for any kaimahi and/or whānau members across Te Tai o Poutini who want to grow their skillset and explore ao Māori approaches in the AOD space/ Meth Harm space! 

This kaupapa will include: 

- Community Connection.

- Kōrero from whānau with lived experience. 

- Cross Collaboration. 

- Designing Resources. 

- In-depth kōrero on AOD/Meth Harm. 

This wānaka is open to anyone across Te Tai o Poutini who believes they could benefit from this kaupapa!
